RIFF RAFF FILMS  invited us to craft an animated sequence for a Coldplay music video directed by OMAR JONES. From the beginning, we wanted the piece to feel raw and tactile, so we embraced a traditional rotoscope approach. Every single frame was printed, then reimagined with acrylic paint and crayons, carrying the texture of hand-made artistry. Once complete, the frames were scanned back into the digital realm, merging the physical and the cinematic.
Though the music video was never released, the process itself became a beautiful exploration of craft and experimentation.
